Creative Arts Therapist

For as long as I can remember, art making has been fulfilling for me in ways I cannot put into words - only images. I am someone who has been lucky enough to quickly find my life's passion and channel it within my empathetic nature to improve the lives of others while enriching my own.

I have always had a passion for art, but also for helping others - which is why I now am not only an artist/muralist, but also a Creative Arts Therapist.

I have over ten years of experience as a freelance artist working with all artistic mediums, mainly including: large and small scale paintings,  portrait commissions, murals, welding, clay, wood, and mixed media sculpture, as well as spatial transformation. I also have over three years experience working as as Creative Arts Therapist serving clients of all ages in inpatient psychiatry, substance abuse treatment facilities, detox facilities, pediatric units, medical hospitals, developmental disability institutes, etc. working closely within a treatment team to serve those struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, medical conditions, autism, and other developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, etc. I am able to use this knowledge and experience to serve the community in many ways - creating therapeutic murals being one of them!
